You need to update the estate plan when circumstance changes such as marriage, divorce, having child, etc. in general. Also, you will need to update the estate plan if the Executors or Trustee of the estate plan dies or may fall into severe illness and chances that he or she could not handle affairs. You may not need to update Islamic Wills for a situation such as job changes, investment changes, etc. However, it is worthwhile to revisit Islamic Will yearly basis. You will need to update Trust if any property changes take place. For Power of Attorney and Living Will, any property changes will not impact, but geographical relocation may impact.
