Wassiyyah also provides objective educational resources and meaningful information to make your estate planning goal successful. Estate planning is critical; leaving one or more things aside can create issues with meeting objectives. Wassiyyah ensures that members understand this thoroughly before creating their estate plan. Wassiyyah ensures the delivery of the best Islamic estate plans. Apart from providing service, many responsibilities remain with users that you should know.

OUR PART

Our Part is to provide resources and guides for creating your estate plan that is legally valid and Islamically compliant. Our part is to support you during your journey through resources to meet your goal. If you cannot make a purchase or have any other questions, please get in touch with our SUPPORT.

YOUR PART

On your part is to follow the below crucial things to create a practical, legally and Islamically compliant estate plan.

  1. Your part is to decide on creating the estate plan by agreeing to the Terms, Conditions, and Privacy policy of Wassiyyah.com. Please do not use Wassiyyah.com if you disagree.

  2. Your part is to read through the user Wassiyyah's Instructions provided with the estate plan and make a note of and follow everything to make your estate plan compliant.

  3. We provide you with an easy-to-use interface to download your estate plan in less than 5 minutes. Then after, creating an estate plan should not take more than an hour, assuming you have all the required information to fill in, including your and your family's legal names, addresses, and other contact information. Your executors, Trustees, Decision maker or agent, witnesses' legal names, and other contact information. Your part is to ensure that you fill out the correct information in the appropriate field of your estate plan.

  4. We do our best to give you an estate plan that has proper format spacing (in MS Word document), but still, you will find some abnormalities. We leave it to the user to adjust spacing after filling out information due to different preferences. Do not leave large spaces between paragraphs. If there is a large space for some reason, copy this text "Below space is intentionally left blank." You can write these notes on all pages where you have large spaces. See this screenshot for writing notes. Also, keep the Article related to signing on the same page rather than let it be a breakdown into different pages. For example, if you have an article or section "Witness signing," keep an entire section on the same page, including the title, paragraph, and signature boxes. See this screenshot where Article 22 is on the same page, which is great, but Article 23 is broken down into two pages which is not good.

  5. Your part is to keep the estate plan intact, as provided, and Wassiyyah strongly recommends that you do not make any changes in the language or others. Wassiyyah spent years learning and optimizing estate plans, so making any language changes can impact the outcome. If you are using any software for grammar checking and opening the document with this application running in the background, you will see lots of flags, errors, or corrections required. Do not worry about such flags as those will be there because the estate plan is written in the formal legal language, which cannot be interpreted by software. However, if you find any corrections due to spelling errors or other, please leave your feedback HERE which is greatly appreciated. We will try our best to update in the next revision if necessary.

  6. Your part is to decide the type of estate plan suitable for your situation, such as Marital status (i.e., Islamically and Legally valid marriage), whether children are alive or not, types of assets, sizes of assets, and locations of assets.

  7. Your part is to select proper country and jurisdiction (i.e., state, province, territory) in the options when you need to select while creating estate plans otherwise, you may end up creating estate plans that is not for your country.

  8. Your part is deciding which estate plan types you should create—for example, If you are creating Islamic Wills then you select the proper Will types between Single vs. Multi-Jurisdictional Will, Single vs. Family Trust, etc.

  9. Your part is to decide on the charity portion for your Will or Trust. You can make a charity or testamentary bequest one-third or less. Depending on asset types, sizes, and locations, there may be tax consequences in one or more countries. So it is your Part to decide how much bequests (i.e., one-third or less or no Bequests) you intend to make Part of your Will or Trust. If you are unsure about Bequest, select "No Bequests" option.

  10. You can create an estate plan in English through Wassiyyah. However, Your part is to decide the estate plan language suitable for you, your family, and your inheritors based on your geographical location.

  11. Most estate plans do not require registration unless you choose to do it voluntarily. However, The registration requirements may differ from one country or jurisdiction (i.e., state, province, territory) to another. Irrespective of the case, You must register your Will if you are creating International Will.

  12. Your part is to have proper land titles on your property; otherwise, your estate planning goal faces obstructions. The best estate plans cannot assist in resolving land title issues if you did not solve them in your lifetime. See LAND TITLE ISSUES.

  13. Your part is to follow the legal requirements of signing your estate plan provided in the Instruction guide by Wassiyyah.

  14. Wassiyyah is not a legal firm, not an accounting firm, and not a tax specialist firm. Your part is to consult the appropriate firm(s) to save your estates from tax consequences. The taxes may include estate tax, wealth tax, inheritance tax, property tax, capital gain tax, or any other.
