Who can be my Executor? And How many executors are required to create my Islamic Will?

The executorship demands dedication, energy, and time to carry out affairs after a Testator dies and needs to be a person, preferably relatives or friends. Suppose no one is available to carry out your affairs; in that case, you may hire professionals such as solicitors or accountants, bank representatives, or in some countries; There are Public Trustees who offer service to be the executor of your Will. The professional services may charge fees, and so, you should confirm the costs before appointing them as an Executor.

It is not mandatory to appoint more than one executor, although it is advisable to do so, for example, if one of the executors dies. It is common to delegate two, but up to four executors can take on responsibility for administering the will after a death.
